WILLMAR -- The State Patrol has identified the Willmar man killed Thursday in a broad-side accident west of Willmar in Chippewa County.
Robert Prekker, 77, was killed when the 1989 Ford Pickup he was driving collided with a 2001 Steerling tandem grain truck at the intersection of state Highway 40 and Chippewa County Road 2 around 2:30 p.m.
Prekker was going north on County Road 2 and the grain truck, driven was Donald Urban, 82, of Raymond was going west on Highway 40.
Urban was not injured.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department and Clara City Police Department responded to the incident.
