The diving preliminaries for both Class A and AA open the state swimming and diving meet today at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.
Sophomore diver Shelbie Walsh of Litchfield is the lone area participate in the Class A preliminaries, which start at noon.
