Ryan Stoick, a junior wide receiver from Morris, caught three touchdown passes Friday at the Metrodome as Minnesota-Morris overcame a 13-point Rockford (Ill.) lead in the fourth quarter to beat the Regents 27-20 in overtime for the Cougars (7-0, 7-2) first football title in the 10-team Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
Stoick, the Cougars' leading receiver with 39 catches and 12 TDs, caught scoring passes covering 14, 6 and 15 yards.
