Cindy Sheehan, you have my sympathy. I also offer my sympathy to all the many mothers, fathers, wives and family members who have lost a loved one in Iraq or in any of the surrounding countries.
What can you say to President Bush? I understand you have already met with the president some time ago. He certainly will not make changes because you and others are grandstanding near Crawford, Texas. You are on the news, you are on television, you and others with you are being noticed. Is that the purpose of your protest?
Instead of all this bickering, use your time to better advantage: Write to the military, offer your support and your prayers. I personally think your son would be angry if he could see you. I don't like the war either, but we are there so let's hope it will soon end and the people of Iraq and neighboring countries will solve their own problems and eventually find freedom.
