Showers and thunderstorms are spreading into west central Minnesota this morning and will continue eastward into east central Minnesota.

According to the National Weather Service, a weakening cold front will enter western Minnesota this afternoon and move eastward into the evening. Thunderstorm development will be isolated, but any storms that do develop will have the potential to produce large hail and damaging winds.

Thunderstorm chances will continue this evening, primarily across south central Minnesota and

west central Wisconsin. Some of these storms may also become severe with large hail and damaging winds.
