High winds tore down this tree by the roots Sunday on the 700 block of Fourth Street Southeast in Willmar. Northwest winds blew at 35 miles per hour Sunday afternoon with gusts up to 45 mph. A wind advisory from the National Weather Service was in effect Sundayafternoon and evening. The Weather Service said winds would diminish some, but it would remain breezy overnight and today.
