BELGRADE -- Susan Kaye Leukam, 51, of Belgrade died Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Belgrade. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church and one hour prior to the service Saturday. A Parish Prayer Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.

She was born Feb. 7, 1956, in Sauk Centre to John and Lucille (Gysberg) Schaefer. She grew up on a farm near Spring Hill and later moved with her family to a farm east of Belgrade. She attended Belgrade High School and graduated in 1974.
She married Don Leukam on Sept. 30, 1978 in Belgrade. They lived south of Belgrade and she ran a cleaning business out of the home.
She worked for Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar for the last three years, and most recently, had been working in the health information service department.
She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and served on the Parish Council. She was also a member of the BBE Booster Club.
She is survived by her husband; children: Tracy (and Turner) Fixen of Fargo, N.D., and Robbie Leukam of St. Cloud; three brothers: John Schaefer of Las Vegas, Tom Schaefer of Willmar and Mark Schaefer of Sauk Centre; and two sisters: Mary (and Dave) Schmitz of Belgrade and Patty (and Steve) Weiner of Milbank, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
