WILLMAR -- A 19-year-old man has been arrested on charges of burglary, property damage and theft in connection to the Wednesday morning burglary of the Tobacco Shop in Willmar.
According to a news release from Willmar Police Sgt. Michael Jahnke, Ian Lee Anderson was arrested around 8 p.m. Wednesday without incident.
Officers were called around 1 a.m. Wednesday to an intrusion alarm at the shop, 2211 First St. S. Someone had entered by breaking a large store front window, took packets of incense and fled on foot. The area was searched, but the suspect was not located.
The investigation at the scene and later in the day led to Anderson's arrest.
