ST. CLOUD -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Department has identified several suspects in a series of daytime residential burglaries that have been occurring in Stearns County and neighboring counties.
In most of the burglaries, homes were broken into while the residents were at work during the day, and jewelry, electronics and guns were stolen.
The Sheriff's Department said there was a break in the case when a Stearns County resident recently reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in his neighborhood. That information led investigators to identifying several suspects.
Investigators have recovered numerous stolen items and returned them to their owners.
The suspects haven't been formally charged yet. One is jailed in another county on an unrelated offense.
