Emily Swierenga and Dustin Carlson were united in marriage Oct. 24 in Svea.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Mindy Swierenga of Svea. The groom is the son of Clyde and Annette Tiffany of Willmar and the late Dale Carlson.
Maid of honor was Nicole Kowalczyk, sister of the bride. Bride's attendants were Crystal Swierenga, sister-in-law of the bride; Amber Hinther and Courtney Jacobson, cousins of the bride; and Desrae Krueger and Haley Rhoades, friends of the bride.
Best man was Christopher Carlson, brother of the groom. Groom's attendants were Chris Swierenga and Mitchell Swierenga, brothers of the bride; Jason Kowalczyk, brother-in-law of the bride; Parker Asche, friend of the groom; and Jackson Carlson, son of the couple.
Ushers were Adam Lindblad, Abraham Jacobson and Jay Lindblad, cousins of the bride.

A reception and dance were held at the American Legion in Spicer.
Following the wedding, the couple lives in Willmar where the bride is employed by Willmar Public Schools as a reading specialist and coach and the groom is employed by Willmar Public Schools as a substitute teacher and coach.
