WILLMAR -- The Willmar Cardinals swim team finished the home season with a flury overflowing Sauk Rapids 105-78 on Thursday in Central Lakes Conference boys swimming, the Cardinals second win.
Freshman Andy Johnson won the 100 free in 54.05 and freshman Ben Saint had a personal best in the 200 individual medley and the 100 freestyle.
"It was a solid meet for us," said coach Carl Shuldes. "Saint has shown so much improvement. It was a good way to end the home part of the schedule."
Ryan Larsen, Matt Fuglestad, Steve Kluver and Andrew Nicklawsky had other firsts for Willmar.
