ALEXANDRIA -- Andy Johnson, Jackson Roberts and the 200-yard freestyle relay team picked up firsts for the Willmar swimming and diving team at the Central Lakes Conference meet Saturday.
As a team, the Cardinals placed fourth with 313.5 points. Brainerd won the team title with 518 points, followed by Fergus Falls at 380 and Alexandria at 321.5.
Johnson won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:53.84. Roberts won the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.67 and also placed third in the 100 freestyle in 50.43.
The 200 freestyle team of Roberts, Kyle Schmidt, Andrew Nicklawsky and Johnson won the relay race in 1:32.31.
Steve Kluver picked up a second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.81.
