CLARKFIELD -- Sylve Pauline Hawkinson, 89, of Clarkfield died Tuesday at Luther Haven in Montevideo.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Community Bible Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at Clarkfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the service at the church. Arrangements are with Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.

She was born Oct. 13, 1916, in rural Clarkfield to Alfred and Rachel (Ness) Hawkinson. She attended rural grade school and graduated as valedictorian from Boyd High School.
She worked as a telephone operator in Canby. She was a missionary in Liberia, West Africa, for six years. She returned home to care for her parents. She worked at the Farm Service Office in Clarkfield for 14 years. She lived at Brookside Manor for two years and then moved to Luther Haven in 2005.
She was a Sunday School teacher and superintendent.
She is survived by her siblings: Arlo Hawkinson of Marshall and Fern Landmark of Montevideo.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
