KERKHOVEN -- Sylvia C. Falk, 73, of Kerkhoven died Tuesday at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kerkhoven Lutheran Church in Kerkhoven.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harvey Anderson Kerkhoven Funeral Home in Kerkhoven and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Dec. 25, 1934, in rural Starbuck to Ingvald and Clara (Nelson) Aslakson. She graduated from Starbuck High School in 1953. She continued her education at the School of Medical Technology in Minneapolis.

She married Arthur Falk on March 2, 1957, in Starbuck. They lived in Montevideo and Alexandria. In 1972, they settled in Kerkhoven.
She was a member of Kerkhoven Lutheran Church where she was a member of WELCA, quilters and was a Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her husband; children: Richard (and Loretta) Falk of Kerkhoven, Sharyl (and Steve) Syverson of Kerkhoven, Annelle (and special-friend, Rod Johnson) Guillemard of Murdock; five grandchildren; a brother: Henry (and Beverly) Aslakson of Delano; and a sister: Carol Benson of Pearland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister in infancy.
