IVANHOE -- A 16-year-old Pennock girl sustained a broken foot in a two-vehicle crash around 8 p.m. Monday along Highway 19 east of Ivanhoe.
According to the State Patrol, the girl's 2001 Jeep crossed the center line and sideswiped a 2003 Toyota van. A passenger in the van, Paula L. Swanson, 50, of Marshall, was flown to Avera McKennen Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. with chest pains. The girl, whose name was not released, was taken to the Tyler hospital and treated and released.
