OLIVIA - Two 19-year-old teenagers sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash reported early this morning near Danube.

According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, the crash on County Road 4 near the intersection with 280th Street, approximately six miles southwest of Danube in Flora Township, was reported just after 5 a.m. this morning.

Deputies responding to the crash found the vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban, unoccupied. However, the driver, Jack Thomas Greenslit, 19, of rural Franklin, and passenger, Elliot Dane Schwab, 19, of Morton, were later located.

The investigation revealed that Greenslit was driving westbound on County Road 4 when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. The vehicle was a total loss.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
