NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer won two of three matches as it hosted a quadrangular Tuesday.
The Wildcats beat Benson 4-3, lost to Becker 6-1 and topped YME 4-3.
The Sting beat Benson 5-2, but lost to Becker 4-3. Benson's score against Becker was not reported at press time.

A sweep in doubles allowed New London-Spicer to edge Benson.

Lauren Rustad-Jennesa Johnson (1-doubles) and Megan Bergeson-Bridget Bergeson (3-doubles) won in straight sets for the Wildcats while Wendy Toops-Kelly Cappelen won a three-set match at 2-doubles. Angie Wiegmann won 6-4, 6-4 at 1-singles for NLS' only point in singles.
