PAYNESVILLE -- Terry L. Hacker, 64, of Paynesville died Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Paynesville Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born Aug. 4, 1943, in Bloomington, Ind., to William and Mary (Langley) Hacker. He grew up in Bloomington with his mother and stepfather, John Allgood. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by the Los Angeles Times for 41 years as a journeyman compositor. He retired in 2005 and moved to Paynesville.

He married Jayne (Anderson) Roos on Dec. 29, 2007.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters: Kimberly Sanchez, Lori Holloman and Jessica Harrison; stepchildren: Heather, Eric and Robert Roos; seven grandchildren; sisters: Linda Thomas and Ellen Thompson; and a brother: Virgil Hacker.
He was preceded in death by a son: Terry Hacker; and three brothers.
