Kandiyohi County businesses that want to increase their competitive edge with the use of high-speed Internet can learn more by attending a series of seminars in February, sponsored by the Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Commission and the Blandin Foundation broadband initiative.
"Setting Up a Basic Web Site" will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 5. "Optimizing your Web Site" is from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 5. "Utilizing E-Commerce" is from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 12.
All three courses will be held at the MinnWest Technology Campus in Willmar. The cost for each is $10.
Basic skills training for the general public will be offered as well. The training will consist of four classes each. The first session starts Feb. 4; the training will be repeated in March and April and will be offered in Willmar, New London, Raymond and Lake Lillian.
The cost for one series of four classes is $10.
