BENSON -- Thelma Clarissa Holtan, 100, of Benson died Wednesday at Meadowlane Healthcare Center in Benson.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be at the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born June 20, 1905, in Lake Shore Township, Lac qui Parle County, to Louis Lars and Julia Grace (Wasberg) Thompson. She grew up in Madison and attended school through the eighth grade.
She married O.H. Holtan in July of 1929 in Madison. She was a homemaker. The family moved to Benson in 1935.
She was a member of a bowling league and several bridge clubs. She volunteered at Meadow Lane Health Care Center in Benson for 16 years.
She is survived by her children: James (and Fran Dean) Holtan of Montevideo, Lorraine (and Don) Carpenter of Carlton, Robert (and Mary) Holtan of Crockett, Calif., Ronald (and Kathy) Holtan of Benson, Diane (and Kurt) Kjellberg of Buffalo; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; daughter: Jean Arne; one grandson; and three siblings.
