BENSON -- Theresa Elaine Morton, 74, of Le Mars, Iowa, formerly of Benson, died Friday at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.
The service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church and one hour before the service Tuesday. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson.

She was born June 1, 1933, in Brooten to Julius and Josephine (Dauer) Hoefer. She grew up in Brooten and Glenwood and attended school through the eighth grade. She then worked at the Pheasant Café in Swift Falls.
On June 22, 1950, she married Gerald Kenneth Morton in Benson. They lived in Benson until moving to Litchfield in 1962. In 1977 they moved to Le Mars, Iowa, where she worked at VanderMeer Bakery and TH Café.
She was a member of the Homemakers Club in Benson.
She is survived by her husband; her children: Pamela (and Brian) Danielson of Buffalo, Sherlyn Morton of Sioux Falls, S.D., Timothy (and Lynne) Morton of Willmar, Kenneth Morton (and Cindy Brenna) of Richmond, Debra (and Michael) Cronen of Kandiyohi, Susan (and Gary) Kolker of Le Mars, Iowa, Kathleen (and Kirk) Friedrichsen of Holstein, Iowa, Gerald (and Tiereny) Morton of Calumet, Iowa, and Daniel Morton of Le Mars, Iowa; 35 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Evelyn Hoeper of Fergus Falls, Walt (and Mona) Hoefer of Alexandria, Anna Greene of Kandiyohi and Agnes Gehlert of Holladay, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two grandchildren.
