GROVE CITY -- After throwing a no-hitter in her first start of the season, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City junior Kalina Blackwell one-upped herself Thursday.
Blackwell didn't give up a hit or a walk en route to throwing a perfect game in ACGC's 2-0 win over Montevideo in a West Central South Conference game.
Kayla Dallman backed Blackwell by lining a two-out triple over the left fielder's head in the sixth inning. Bethany Nelson advanced Tiffany Schultz and Ashley Schmeling -- who had both reached on errors -- to second and third with a sacrifice bunt. Dallman then followed with her triple.
Blackwell, who struck out six, held New London-Spicer hitless in the Falcons' season opener on April 4.
Betsy Zacharias surrendered only four hits without issuing a walk in a losing effort for Montevideo (1-1, 1-2).
