NEW LONDON -- No one could keep up with Chase Thonvold, who won the Little Crow club title on Sunday by eight strokes over second-place Mark Bonnema.
Thonvold, the Lakeland Tournament runnerup in June to Andy Jacobson, shot 73-70-38-181 over this two-day club tournament or one-over par.
Bonnema stayed close through 18 holes by shooting a 74 to start. Thonvold pulled away from Bonnema and the field the next 18 by shooting a two-under 70.
Defending champion Tim Dreier tied for third place with Rory Stieler, each at 198.
Ann Roguske is the new Little Crow Country Club Women's champion after shooting 90-92-182.
