WILLMAR -- Aaron Larson, Lucas Matthys and Meghan Reineke of Kandi Bowl advanced to the Minnesota Singles Youth Bowling Tournament after recently competing in the Mid Central District qualification in Arlington.
Larson bowled a series of 722 to win the 66-85 division and Matthys had a series of 724 to win the 106-125 division. Reineke had a 747 to place second in the 126-145 division.
The state finals are Jan. 14-15 in Inver Grove Heights.
Also competing in the district tournament from Kandi Bowl were Paige Reineke (ninth in 86-105 division), Ben Pattison (10th in 146-165 division) and Jeremy Teeuwen (fifth in 166-185 division).
