Three hurt in three-car mishap

MARSHALL -- Three people were treated for non-life threatening injuries in a three-car accident on Minnesota Highway 23 and the intersection of Lyon County Road 9 near Cottonwood, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A 2001 Buick Park Avenue driven by Virginia Isaackson, 84, of Cottonwood was traveling north on County Road 9 and failed to yield at the crossing with Highway 23. A 1999 Ford Taurus driven by Maxine Praham, 74 of Slayton, was south bound on Highway 23 when it and a 1989 Ford Mustang, driven by Robert Hoff, 52, of Wood Lake, collided. The Buick then collided with the Mustang as well, according to a report of the accident from the State Patrol.

Isaackson was treated and released for injuries she suffered and her passenger, Dorris Lee, 85, of Cottonwood, also suffered a non-life threatening injury. Praham suffered a non-life threatening injury as well.
