CLARA CITY -- Tillie Seehusen, 95, of Clara City died Saturday at the Clara City Care Center.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. Burial will be at St. Matthew's North Cemetery, near Danube.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
She was born Nov. 22, 1911, on the family farm near Clara City to Fred and Tompka (Bontje) Gruessing. She grew up in rural Clara City and attended District 70 School.

She married Fred Seehusen on March 13, 1933, in Raymond. They lived on a farm east of Clara City. She worked at the Prinsburg Cafe and at Dick's Red Owl in Olivia for 21 years. She moved to Clara City in 1983. She later moved to Prairie Park Place and to the Clara City Care Center in 2004.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law: Priscilla Seehusen of Eden Prairie; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Fred (and Rena) Gruessing and Frieda Dykhoff, all of Raymond.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; son: Larry in 2003; four sisters and four brothers.
