The Minnesota Timberwolves signed center John Edwards on Wednesday.
The 7-footer played most recently in the NBA's developmental league.
Edwards went undrafted out of Kent State and appeared in 25 games with the Indiana Pacers during the 2004-05 season. He played in 40 games for the Atlanta Hawks in 2005-06.
Training camp starts Saturday for the Wolves.
