WILLMAR -- Tina Bratsch, 87, of Willmar died Thursday at her daughter's home in New Ulm.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Covenant Church in Willmar. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

She was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Kandiyohi County to Claus and Anna (Baumann) Ruter. She received her education at District 111.

She married Delmer Bratsch on Feb. 21, 1944. They lived in Willmar, where she worked at The Puritan Café. She later worked for the National Youth Association, and as a babysitter and midwife.

She was a member of First Covenant Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and superintendent for 25 years. She was active with the Covenant Women and Missions.

She is survived by her children: Delmer Bratsch of Annandale, Larry (and Myrna) Bratsch of Springfield, Mo., Kathy (and Steve) Christensen of New Ulm and Marty (and Donna) Bratsch of Little Falls; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters: Louise (and Aldrich) Aasen and Doris (and Dick) Lynam, both of Willmar; and a brother: Claus (and Kathy) Ruter of New Prague.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 3, 2007, five brothers and four sisters.
