Local region yellow medicine county tractor roll over wood lake

GRANITE FALLS -- An 82-year old man was injured when the tractor he was driving tipped and pinned him underneath it around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Roger Rebers, rural Cottonwood, was pulling a rake in a ditch south of Wood Lake just west of the intersection of County Roads 1 and 6 when he apparently struck a culvert, causing the tractor to roll over. He was rescued from under the tractor and transported by ambulance to the Granite Falls Hospital, according to a report from the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Department. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.

Responding with the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office were the Wood Lake Fire and First Responders, Cottonwood Fire and Rescue, Cottonwood Ambulance, Granite Falls Ambulance, and the Upper Sioux Police Department.
