REDWOOD FALLS -- A series of open houses sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Minnesota Trails Initiative have been scheduled to obtain public input on the future of the first leg of the proposed Minnesota River Trail.

Granite Falls will hold an open house Tuesday from 4:30-7 p.m. at Granite Falls City Hall and Ortonville will hold the final open house from 4:30-7 p.m. March 2 at the Ortonville Senior Center.
