Train hits Olivia truck driver in North Dakota

HETTINGER, N.D. -- A semi truck was hit on the driver's side door by a BNSF train on a gravel township road crossing near Hettinger in southwest North Dakota Monday afternoon, sending the truck driver to a nearby hospital for treatment.

HETTINGER, N.D. - A semi truck was hit on the driver’s side door by a BNSF train on a gravel township road crossing near Hettinger in southwest North Dakota Monday afternoon, sending the truck driver to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The North Dakota State Patrol said David Pastoors, 56, of Olivia, Minnesota, was traveling north in his 2014 Kenworth with a trailer about 4 p.m. while the train was heading east when they collided on the tracks.
Pastoors was taken by ambulance to Hettinger for medical treatment.
