Trott and Kandiyohi Avenues close for repairs through August

WILLMAR - Trott Avenue and Kandiyohi Avenue will close Wednesday for utility work and road repair and likely will not reopen until the end of August, according to city officials.
Trott Avenue Southeast is currently closed between First Street and Julii Street.
Kandiyohi Avenue Southwest is closed between Seventh Street and 11th Street, according to a news release from the city of Willmar.
The construction project includes curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement and milling and paving of the designated streets.
Local traffic will be allowed through the construction zone.
Motorists may encounter minor delays and are instructed to slow down near the construction areas and plan an alternate route.
The city expects to complete the construction by Aug. 28.
