LAKE LILLIAN -- No injuries were reported when a pickup truck went through the ice late Friday afternoon on Big Kandiyohi Lake.
The truck's owner, Daniel Kiecker of Lake Lillian, reported the mishap Friday evening to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department.
The occupants of the truck all were able to get out before the vehicle sank through the ice.
Sheriff's deputies and a crew from the Kandiyohi County Highway Department posted signs in the area, warning of the thin ice.

The sheriff's office also issued a reminder that ice conditions can change from day to day and driving vehicles on the ice is never considered safe.
