Turn lane construction scheduled to begin today on Hwy. 71 near Belgrade

WILLMAR - Motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 71 south of Belgrade may encounter minor delays beginning today, while crews construct a right-turn lane and bypass lane, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said in a news release.
The work will require shoulder closures. Traffic will be directed through the work zone by flaggers.
Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg is the prime contractor for the project. The work should be completed by early June, weather permitting.
