MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Twins traded righthander Kyle Lohse to the Cincinnati Reds on Monday for minor league righthander Zach Ward.

Lohse, 27, started the year in the Twins' rotation but struggled and was sent to the minors at one point. He has pitched out of the bullpen since being recalled. He is 2-5 with a 7.07 ERA in 22 games.

Ward, 22, is 7-0 with a 2.29 ERA in Class A ball this season.
