BREEZY POINT -- The Kandiyohi County and Chippewa County chapters of Pheasants Forever were lauded for spending $1 million on habitat and conservation education projects last year at the Minnesota PF state convention earlier this month.
The Kandiyohi County chapter was the first in the nation in 1983, followed two years later by the Chippewa County chapter.
Pheasants Forever allows its chapters to determine how to spend 100 percent of the funds raised during the year.
