Two die Sunday in Paynesville crash

PAYNESVILLE -- Two were killed Sunday evening in a one-vehicle rollover crash west of Paynesville in Roseville Township, according to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.

PAYNESVILLE - Two were killed Sunday evening in a one-vehicle rollover crash west of Paynesville in Roseville Township, according to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened around 8:54 p.m. along 240th Avenue Northeast, near Tri-County Road.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead after being transported by ambulance to Paynesville Area Hospital.
One passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another passenger was transported by ambulance to Paynesville Area Hospital for what were described as non-life-threatening injuries, according to the news release.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office. Names of those involved in the accident will be released at a later time.
Responding to the accident were the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Paynesville Fire Department, Paynesville Ambulance, Paynesville Police Department, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Life Link Helicopter and Willmar Ambulance.
