WILLMAR -- Guillermo Lopez Sr., 42, and Rosa Chavez Barco, 49, of Willmar, were arraigned Monday in Kandiyohi County District Court on three first-degree controlled substance charges.
The charges allege that CEE-VI Drug Task Force agents who searched their home found cocaine and task force money used in a drug buy. The charges include drug sale, conspiracy and aiding and abetting charges for the sale of 10 or more grams of cocaine, methamphetamine or heroin in a 90-day period.
Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 for Lopez and at $50,000 for Barco.
Both were allowed conditional release, at $50,000 and $7,500, provided they have no contact with each other and possess no firearms or dangerous weapons.
According to the complaint, CEE-VI agents executed a search warrant around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at the home in Regency Estates East. The search revealed plastic bags of cocaine stashed in the bathroom vanity and in the kitchen in a case for eyeglasses and in a wine rack. Two digital scales, marijuana and $1 and $5 bills containing white substances were also found. The main stash of cocaine, 17.8 grams, was found in the bathroom vanity. Agents also located $1,000, in $50 and $100 bills, under a stack of towels.

Agents later determined that $750 of the money was used earlier in a cocaine buy at the home.
During an interview, Barco told officers she knew about drug dealing from the home but claimed she had nothing to do with it.
Both have their next court appearances on Jan. 28.
