WILLMAR – Two people were injured in a rear-end collision Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 71 and 120th Avenue south of Willmar.
The Minnesota State Patrol said a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado was stopped and waiting to make a left turn when it was struck from behind by a southbound 2017 Dodge Ram van.
The driver of the Silverado, Michael James Pillatzki, 67, of Willmar, was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar for treatment of injuries.
The driver of the Dodge, 33-year-old Chad Robert Hayes of Apple Valley, also was taken to the hospital in Willmar.
Both drivers wore seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor.

The crash was reported at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
