Hancock senior guard Tara Thielke and Montevideo senior forward Brook Moseng recently saw long individual streaks end.

Thielke had made at least one 3-pointer in each of the Owls' first 16 games before she failed to connect from long range in Hancock's win at Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Jan. 25. The area leader in three-pointers (47), Thielke has made six treys in a game three times this season.

Moseng has less than half of Thielke's total, 21, but the Montevideo's leading scorer had made at least one 3-pointer in 14 consecutive games before not making one in the Thunder Hawks' loss to New London-Spicer on Tuesday.

Thielke's teammate, freshman guard Bree Holleman, is second in the area in three-pointers with 45 and has had only one game in which she didn't make a shot from beyond the arc.
