OLIVIA -- Two 33-year-old Olivia women have been arrested and charged with controlled substance crimes for allegedly selling prescription pills to a CEE-VI Drug Task Force agent and informant.
Nikki Jean Chalupsky and Fay Lynn Eisenbraun were arrested late last week by the Olivia Police Department and the CEE-VI Drug Task Force and made their first appearances in Renville County District Court on Oct. 16 and Tuesday. Chalupsky made her first court appearance on Oct. 16 on a first-degree controlled substance sale charge. Her unconditional bail was set at $100,000 and conditional bail at $50,000.
Eisenbraun appeared Tuesday on second-degree controlled substance sale charge. Her unconditional bail was set at $20,000. Conditional release was allowed on her personal recognizance.
According to the complaints against the women, they either arranged or participated in the sale of pills containing hydrocodone, a common brand name is Vicodin, or morphine to the agent or informant between Aug. 27 and Sept. 10.
The informant and agent purchased 30 pills for $50 cash from Chapulsky on Aug. 27 in Olivia. The pills were later identified as hydrocodone bitarate 7.5 mg and acetaminophen 500 mg.

On Sept. 1, another buy was arranged, also in Olivia. The informant, using CEE-VI funds, purchased 50 hydrocodone pills for $75 and 10 morphine pills for $50 from Chalupsky and 30 hydrocodone pills for $50 from Eisenbraun.
On Sept. 9, the agent arranged to buy 30 Vicodin pills for $60 from Eisenbraun in a bank parking lot in Olivia. The buy later expanded to another 30 pills for another $60. The pills were examined and determined to contain 5 mg of hydrocodon bitarate.
On Sept. 10, the agent again purchased 30 hydrocodone pills for $75 from Eisenbraun, also in the same parking lot. Those pills were determined to contain 7.5 mg of hydrocodon bitarate.
In total, Chalupsky sold or arranged the sale of 200 pills containing hydrocodone and 9 pills containing morphine. She was arrested and allegedly admitted to her actions in an Oct. 15 interview with a CEE-VI investigator. Eisenbraun was arrested on Oct. 18 and also confessed her involvement in the drug sales.
