WILLMAR -- Two people pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony charges for smashing their way into and robbing a Sacred Heart jewelry store in November.
Marcos Enrique Trevino Jr., 21, of Danube, and Allison Ann Roschild, 18, of Renville, entered the pleas in Renville County District Court. Trevino pleaded guilty to a burglary count and Roschild pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting property damage, according to Renville County Assistant Attorney Glen Jacobsen, who is prosecuting the case.
Trevino and Roschild also face felony charges in Yellow Medicine and Kandiyohi counties for similar jewelry store burglaries on Nov. 5 in Granite Falls and Willmar.
They both face felony third-degree burglary and gross misdemeanor property damage charges in Kandiyohi County.
The complaints, filed Dec. 22, allege that they and others used a rock to smash the windows and display cases at Setterberg Jewelry in downtown Willmar. Warrants for each defendant's arrest were issued on Dec. 22.

Trevino has already pleaded guilty to a burglary charge in Yellow Medicine County District Court for robbing Korthuis Jewelry in Granite Falls. He will be sentenced Jan. 24. Roschild's next appearance in that case is Monday.
According to the local complaint, Willmar police officers were called to Setterberg, found the front door and display cases smashed and approximately $2,500 in rings and chains missing. The damage estimate was $632.18.
After Roschild and Trevino were arrested in St. Cloud, they and the others involved, including juveniles, were questioned by investigators. Roschild allegedly said that Trevino used a rock to break the window and that he and two others entered the Willmar store. She said they pawned the items at a St. Cloud pawn store.
Trevino allegedly admitted to being in the store. One of the juveniles told investigators they drove to a pawn store in downtown Willmar intending to rob it, but went to a nearby church to get a rock and then Trevino used the rock to break the jewelry store window and steal the merchandise.
The allegations in Yellow Medicine and Renville counties are similar to the Willmar case. A a rock was used to smash the front door and display cases to Korthuis Jewelry in Granite Falls and Probst Jewelry in Sacred Heart, with multiple pieces of jewelry missing from the stores.
