WILLMAR -- An alarm system and the presence of customers helped foil two different theft attempts at Gerry's Liquors on Litchfield Avenue Southwest in Willmar.
A clerk working at the store told police that two men wearing ski masks entered the premises shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The men took off when they spotted customers in the store.
A window on the south side of the building had been broken at 12:07 a.m. Saturday and triggered an alarm system.
