Two to hospital after crash
WILLMAR -- Two people were taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar for treatment of injuries in a two-vehicle crash around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at Rice Avenue and Fifth Street Southwest.
Jaime Gonzalez, 70, of Willmar, was driving a 1994 Plymouth that struck a 1992 Cadillac driven by Lacey Beals, 23, of Willmar. Gonzalez was transported by private party to the hospital. Beals was extricated from her vehicle by the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad. She suffered no major injuries, according to the police report, but was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
