LESTER PRAIRIE — A Willmar woman and her passenger escaped serious harm in a two-vehicle collision in Lester Prairie on Saturday morning. The driver of the other vehicle was transported for medical care.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol , a 2011 Ford Edge driven by Cynthia Youngren Heuer, 59, of Howard Lake was southbound on Babcock Avenue around 10:16 a.m. A 2012 Nissan Juke driven by Elaine Diane Bonnema, 23, of Willmar , was westbound on Minnesota Highway 7 . The two vehicles collided in the intersection of Highway 7 and Babcock Avenue in Lester Prairie in McLeod County.
Heuer was transported to the Waconia Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Neither Bonnema or her passenger, Christopher Edward Spadino, 24, of Spicer , were transported for care.
