WILLMAR -- Emergency responders were at the scene of an accident between a passenger van and Kandiyohi Area Transit bus at the intersection of Trott Avenue and Minnesota Highway 40 in Willmar. The collision occurred shortly after 2 p.m.
Emergency responders were treating occupants of the passenger van at the scene for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. They included two adults and several children.
Members of the Willmar Ambulance Service along with law officers from the Willmar Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol and Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident. The Willmar Fire Department was also called to assist at the site.
