BROOKLYN CENTER - Two women from Willmar were injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Brooklyn Center.
According to the State Patrol, a 1999 Dodge Caravan driven by Sarah Lynette Fernandez, 41, of Willmar, was traveling east on Interstate 694 when it sideswiped a 1997 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Neil Stanley Burch, 71, of Brooklyn Park, on the ramp that heads north on Highway 252.
After sideswiping the Malibu, the Caravan drove over the grassy curb and was traveling on the east Interstate 694 ramp when it collided head-on with a north-bound Ford F-150 truck driven by Jacob Andrew Hardie, 21, of Mound.
Fernandez and her passenger, Kayla Marie Fernandez, 16, of Willmar, were taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
Hardie was also taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Malibu was not injured.

Roads were dry at the time of the accident, which was reported at 3:22 p.m. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
