DETROIT LAKES — U.S. Highway 12, between Ortonville and U.S. Highway 59, reopened to all traffic Friday, Dec. 3, according to a news release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The roadway had been closed since late May for construction.
According to the release, crews will return in spring 2022 to finish various elements of the project, including turf establishment, snow fence installations and installing infiltration basins.
For this project, crews resurfaced 26 miles of pavement, widened shoulders and completed work on snow trap improvements and the replacement of several box culverts between Ortonville and Highway 59.
