WILLMAR - United Way of West Central Minnesota and the Home to Home Project are working together to distribute household essentials to area families whose property was damaged by flooding in their homes.
The United Way announced Monday in a news release that the Home to Home Project is in dire need of new or gently used mattresses, blankets and sheets of any size as well as couches and chairs to distribute to families in need.
Blankets and sheets can be dropped off at the United Way Office in Willmar at 311 Fourth St. S.W. on the second floor. Arrangements should be made with the United Way to donate furniture and mattresses to the Home to Home project.
