The cause of a Willmar hospital worker death remains under investigation today as authorities and hospital officials seek to find out the cause of the accident.
Sue Leukam, 51, of Belgrade died Monday of injuries sustained in workplace accident Friday at Rice Memorial Hospital. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Belgrade.
The husband of Sue Leukam said Tuesday that an automatic filing machine did not fall on his wife at Rice Hospital, the Star Tribune reported. Don Leukam declined to provide the newspaper any further details. On Monday, he had told the newspaper that coworkers said she may have been caught in the machine.
Rice Hospital officials said Tuesday that they will issue a statement after they have met with the Leukam family. Rice CEO Lorry Massa said Tuesday he expected a meeting with the family within the next couple of days when they are ready.
Massa had released a brief statement Monday afternoon about Leukam's death.

The Willmar Police Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Ad-ministration are continuing their parallel investigations.
